You are awake. You are alive. You are here in a new day. That’s already incredible. You’ve already accomplished some pretty hard things just to get here. I promise, the next breath will take care of itself. Let your body deal with breath, while you enjoy each new moment.
Warrior, you have every reason to be proud of yourself. Maybe you got out of bed today. Maybe you went to work. Maybe you took the kids to an appointment. Maybe you braved the grocery store. Maybe you brushed your teeth. Maybe you woke up, pet the cat, and rolled over to go back to sleep. No matter what your day is today, friend, you are still here, and that is an incredible feat.
Friend, you’re amazing. You’re still here, and that is incredible. You’ve fought and struggled and overcome so much to be right here right now. That’s amazing. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. Who’s to say what is next for you, but right now looks pretty fantastic.
Friend, some people, some lives seem to take more work than others. That’s okay. You’re not a lazy person. You’ve clawed and struggled and scraped, and still you are here. That’s incredible. People around you may appear stable or like they have it all figured out, but it’s possible they simply don’t want to put the work in and are content to be miserable. You, friend, are not content being miserable. You continue to work to live and to grow, and that, friend, is a beautiful thing.
Friend, you’ve come so far. You’ve grown. You’ve learned. You’ve healed. People will not always be happy for you for this. You’ve put in the work. You continue to work. Remember, you aren’t healing for them. You’re doing this because you want to, because you know you need to. That’s incredible.
Deep breath, friend. Slow even breaths. Take time today to focus on calm and peace. Close your door or your mind or your eyes. Whatever you need to do. With each inhale breathe in strength and calm. With each exhale release all the lies inside your head about who you. You’re incredible.
Dear one, you have come such a long way. It’s okay to acknowledge when you need rest. It’s okay to let yourself have that rest. Long treks take an awful lot out of us. That’s normal. With some rest you can continue to make this incredible journey. It’s going to lead you somewhere magnificent. I can’t wait to see how far you go.
Friend, take all of the time you need. Your body is healing. Your heart is healing. Your mind is healing. They are also always learning and growing and changing. You are constantly moving in beautiful ways. You’re incredible.
Friend, you’re doing fine. It may not feel like it. To the outside world it may not look like it. You are though. You are here, and that’s incredible. You’re still fighting, even when you want to give up. You are still here. That’s a truly beautiful thing.
