Be kind, friend. Be kind to those around you, those you do not understand, who may need your patience. Be kind to those you know so well that they’ll, of course, forgive any unkindness. Be kind to yourself. You need kindness too.

Deep breath. Slow, calming breaths. It’s not easy to block out worry. It feels impossible. But do your best. Worrying won’t make things better. It won’t help your heart or mind. Breathe into the calm of today.
